Privacy Policy

Effective 23 September 2026

Short version: FillZaDoc collects no data. The documents you scan, the details read from them and the forms you fill stay on your iPhone, encrypted. We (InTheKloud, the developer) never receive them.

What stays on your device

• Scanned pages, imported files, extracted details and filled forms are stored only in the app on your iPhone, encrypted with AES-GCM using a key kept in the iPhone Keychain on that device only, protected by Face ID or your passcode.
• Reading documents (text recognition and field extraction) happens entirely on your device.
• The app contains no networking code, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party SDKs.

What can leave your device — only when you choose

• Sharing: when you tap Share, the pages or PDF you pick go wherever you send them. Temporary copies made for sharing are deleted afterwards.
• Backups: a backup file is created only when you ask, encrypted with a passphrase you choose, and saved where you choose. The vault itself is excluded from iCloud and device backups.
• Purchases: the optional one-time unlock is processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment details.

Permissions

• Camera — to scan documents. Photos — to import pictures you pick. Face ID — to unlock the vault. Notifications — local expiry reminders; they never show document details on the lock screen.

Children

The app is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
